did anyone see Reign on me w/adam sandler??

it was TERRIBLE ........I rented it last night and it dragged on and on

I thought the movie was ok. But Adam Sandler definitely didn't fit the part.
When he finally broke down and told his story, I thought that I was going to BALL - but I didn't shed one tear. It wasn't moving at all.

While it DID drag on, I thought some parts were very funny, and some had me HYSTERICAL crying.
MY husband and I were SOBBING when Adam Sandler's character was explaing the day his children and wife were killed in the crash. When he said he felt his little girl burning, I heard my husband gasp. I turned to him and he had tears streaming down his cheeks. 
This is the ONLY 9/11 movie that we have EVER seen as my DH was in the Trade Center that day and barely made it out alive. Too close to home for us.

I had tears down my face when he told his story. I get chills now thinking about it. I thought it was an incredible movie.

ITA w/ this. I was hysterical at that part too--I wasn't expecting it. I was there as well and even that hit me too close to home. I won't see any of the other movies either.
