did anyone not find out gender at 20weeks bc sono tech didn't know?
went for my 20 week sono and tech couldn't figure out the sex because this baby was moving around too much and she couldn't get a good look.
did this happen to anyone else? when did you find out then?
we wanted to know.

That's what happened to me...LIJ couldn't tell me the sex with DS #1 at my 20 week anatomy scan so I went to impact technology...where they told me girl...wrong.
My OBGYN sent me for a growth sono at LIJ at around 30 weeks and that's when I found out boy.

yeah....needless to say we did not go back for the 3d sono with this pregnancy.  Although many people have received the correct info.
Tell your OBGYN that you couldn't find out the sex and see what happens. Hopefully you get a growth sono to find out.

crashing, I would wait there is another May mommy on the pregnancy board who was recently told the WRONG sex by Impact

awww, I would be upset if they couldn't see at 20 weeks! I don't think I would do the 3D tho, mabye your OB can do a sono next visit

DD was very, very uncooperative at my level II - they got everything except a really good crotch shot. The sono tech said girl twice but I still don't believe her - I saw the 3 lines but I didn't see the legs so there was no "context" KWIM?
I am going to go with girl for now and ask them to re-check in 6 weeks at my growth sono.

Yes because DC legs were crossed  The tech knew how much we wanted to known the Gender so had us come back a week later and we found out then

With my 1st pg the sono tech couldn't tell what we were having. She also couldn't get some of the other measurements she needed so they sent me for another sono at Madonna.
We went there at 22 weeks and the sono tech guessed that we were having a girl. She wasn't totally sure, but because they got all the other measurements I couldn't get another sono.
We ended up paying for a 3D/4D sono at Impact at 27/28 weeks where they confirmed it was a girl.

I would never want them to guess, I have a friend that had an entire girl themed shower right down to the personalized(Madison) items. The room was done in lavendar and pink with wall letters and lavendar carpet. WELL.... When she gave birth, it was a friggin BOY. Shock is an understatement

yes. This happened with both my daughters. I had to pay to have a 4d ultrasound to find out. I was 32 weeks along DD#1 when I found out and I think around 28 weeks with DD#2.
With DD#2 the tech did make a guess and he guessed boy, but he said he was probably wrong and to not listen to him

That happened to me at my 20 weeks appt. We went to impact at 27-28 weeks and they said 95% a girl and the doctor wound up sending me for sono's at 30 weeks and after. But the 3D/4D one's from impact were worth it.

Yes!! I had to go back THREE times and didn't find out until like 26 weeks (If I remember correctly)
