DS has baby bedding so we are going to switch to something more toddler like. I will say, I debated between two different baby bedding choices for his crib and one was more grown up than the other, had I picked the more grown up one I could see myself wanting to use it for a toddler bed. Since we are transitioning DS from the crib straight to a twin bed, I am going to get him child like twin bedding with either trains, trucks, cars, or sports on the quilt. I don't think I want to do a character (Thomas, Elmo, or Cars, per say) because I feel like he may not be happy with that 2-3 years down the line and I would like to be able to use this bedding until he is about 6 or 7.

I can see your point about easing the transition, but for us DS will be in the same room, just a different bed. I would think about how long you anticipate using the bedding and if it would be age appropriate then.

DD is only almost 12weeks old, but I love her set also and they also make it in twin Chat Icon , so at this point I going to get the same one. It's lavender and white with dragonflies.

We just got DD toddler bedding and it's different from her crib set because it's in my bedroom. I would keep the same style if you like it especially if you have alot of accessories to match. If they made DD's nursery set in full size I would probably get it because I love it.
