Did anyone have the ultrascreen done at NSUH Manhasset

I'm getting it done there, and my doctor keeps saying that they may be able to take a guess at the sex then....I know a lot of places refuse to guess so early, but was wondering if NSUH Manhasset will guess...my DH is freaking out about this....since its only 3 weeks away!!!!!!!

yes. I had mine done. it'll be cool. they use the 3d sono machine there. ETA that the baby will look like a little alien but it's so cool to see them in 3d!

hd it done there....the sono wouldnt take a guess but the doctor who came in after to check all the measurments did....he guessed right...we're having a !!

I have friends who had it done there and they were given a guess...


I think it depends on the doctor.

that's really cool they do it in 3D there, we just had ours done on Monday at a place and the tech wouldn't even try to take a look she said it gets confused with the imbilical cord!

Have fun, it's so exciting seeing how much the baby has grown and now looks like a baby

I had it at NSUH Mnahasset - but no 3D for me Maybe you will be luckier! We were just happy with hearing good results!
They didn't tell me the sex either....but I found out soon after.

I had mine done at Huntington Hospital but it is the same doctors from Manhasset...Dr Bernasko did mine at Huntington and he told me I was having a boy...

I had my follow up sonograms done at Manhasset..They have a few examine rooms and not all of them have the 3D machine..

I had mine there, no gender guesses, though. One caveat, if they do give you a guess, remember it is just a guess -- they have a 50/50 chance of being right. A friend was told at her ultrascreen and found out it was a at her 20 week sono.

i did! I had such a great experience, the tech was so nice. try and get the first appt. I got a 3-d picture, looks like a little alien they guessed 90% the gender. I also had my level 2 there (20 wk) I was told the same gender, but that experience didn't go as well, and there was no 3-d picture

I had mine there and the doc who came in after the sono tech told me he knew what I was having. Since DH wasn't with me (he had to work) I opted not to find out. But the doc seemed pretty confident about the sex. That led me to believe I was having a boy. At our 20 week sono it was confirmed that we are having another boy.

Thanks ladies. My appt is at 2 bc DH wanted to come with me, and he couldn't make the early morning one.....so now I'm hoping I still get a good Doc and a 3D room!!!!
