Did anyone have bad cramps around 6 weeks postpartum?
Hi,
Monday will be my 6 week pp checkup...the thing is, starting yesterday i have had terrible cramps..feels like a bad period...could it possibly be my period coming already?? I JUST stopped pp bleeding 2 days ago...just curious if this happened to anyone else.

Yes, they felt like a contraction (almost) and lasted for almost an hour. It's probably your uterus contracting back and the cramps can be very painful.

I experienced the same thing and I remember being doubled over in pain and being really scared thinking something was wrong-my dr said the same thing, the uterus contracting back to normal pre-pregnancy size. It should go away soon- i think mine was on&off for a coule of days.

Yes i was just about finishing up with my pp bleeding and then wham...my period showed up with cramping. I was only 5 weeks
