How was it? I was on the website and saw a recipe for easy lasagna skillet- it looked really easy- so I figured I would give it a try. It is the Tomato and Basil cream one.
Here is the recipe if anyone is interested:
1 Pound ground beef
1/2 c each green and red peppers
1 jar 24 oz. spaghetti sauce
2 c water
12 Lasagna noodles , broken
1 tub (10 oz) Philadelphia Tomato and Basil cooking cream

Brown meat w/ peppers in skillet, drain.
Stir in sauce and water, bring to a boil, stir in noodles, cover, simmer medium low heat for 15 minutes or until noodles are tender. Stir occasionally. Add cooking cream, swirl w/ spoon, remove from heat , let stand covered, 3 minutes.

It looks easy and the noodles cook right in w/ the rest of the stuff. I am going to use smaller /different type of noodles- I will see what I find in the store.

I made it last nite- it was really good. I had to call the company b/c I could not find the flavor of cooking cream , I went to 3 supermarkets- I ended up using the savory garlic one. The company told me someone made a typo in the reciepe , and to use the plain or savory garlic one. I also used a smaller pasta- it looked like lasagna bits. HTHChat Icon

I tried the garlic one and make a chicken divan type thing. It was on the container. It was OK - a little thick. Next time I'd add more milk.
