Did any of you have morning sickness during your 2nd trimester?
I am suffering from severe morning sickness (although i feel a little better since being prescribed zofran).
DH and I want to book a babymoon to Mexico or the Caribbean but I can't imagine traveling or doing anything enjoyable feeling the way that I do now.
I just wanted to make sure that the morning sickness will definitely go away in the 2nd trimester.

For most it is supposed to go away but I have heard of numerouse girls that suffered from it well into their 2nd trimester and some who had it last the entire pregnancy. I just hit the 3 month mark and I'm anxiously waiting for it to end but I honestly do not see relief in my near future

with my DD it lasted until week 16. its funny b/c my dr said that most people just assume that at 12 weeks it stops but on average she said between week 14 to 16.
i'm 8 weeks now and i cant wait for it to end!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had morning sickness until my 16th week. We just went on our babymoon when I was 19 weeks pregnant and we had such a great time. We went on a cruise, it was amazing. My energy level has somewhat returned too!

ive still been throwing up...im 18w3d
nothing agrees with me, i have every food aversion imaginable..and i just dont like food or the thought of a meal in general, AT ALL.
This happened to my best friend too, sick the whole way through...
i would still go away, IN A SECOND...
id much rather puke in mexico then NY...

Mine ended around 19 weeks for good. Seriously, i thought it would never end but now, it is a distant memory. I have a day once in a blue moon where i will get sick but that is more from indigestion now!
Hang in there, zofran was the only thing that worked for me!!

Mine went away at 20 weeks or so, only for the major heartburn to kick in. I still have the occassional day of big time nausea at 25.5 weeks but not nearly as bad as the first tri and half of second.
DH has two cousins who were sick until delivery.

I had nausea from the 5th week up until I was in the room having my c-section. I only (TMI) threw up 2 or 3 times but I was nauseous every day and every night up until giving birth.
W/ DD I had nausea up until the 7th or 8th month.

OMG I had it the entire pregnancy and was hospitalized twice for dehydration, try to drink water although I was unable to....try lemon ices, i puked for 9 months straight...poor you i feel for you!

I just turned 10 Weeks and my M/S seems to be getting better. On Wednesday, I had horrible Nausea, and no energy. I woke up on Thursday and I felt so much better. All of a sudden I wasn't so nauseous and I had some energy. Today I still feel good!! Of course I'm not 100% better, but what a difference. I was actually able to clean today, which I haven't been able to do for Weeks. My poor DH has been doing everything.
I never thought it would end this early. I think it is just different for everyone. I would just book your trip. I was in Europe for 2 weeks right in the middle of my M/S. I survived and had as good a time as I could.

I definitely had m/s past 13 weeks--it's hard for me to know when though, since I'd set my alarm an hour early so I could roll over and take my Zofran.
I found that as the m/s got worse, I couldn't take the Zofran after I'd gotten up--cause it would just come up with everything else 
I've been so afraid to go off it--so I've been splitting my pills in half for the past week, and I'm going to stop it tomorrow--I'm really scared!! But I THINK it's gone...
I'm 21 weeks.

Same here. I was still puking on the 4 mg pills, so they upped me to 8mg and it worked for like the 1st week because now I'm starting to puke on them too

I still feel gross on and off (21 weeks here). I def had major MS until about week 16. Now it comes and goes.

Just an FYI, I still puked on the zofran too...I had to take it so I could keep some food down, but I threw up until I delivered.
Zofran is not a wonder drug, it does help, but it isn't a surefire.

Zofran is not a wonder drug, it does help, but it isn't a surefire.
Thats exactly what its doing for me, because now I can at least keep some meals down, before zofran everything came up so for that i am thankful! I def was under the impression that it was the wonder drug but I have since learned.

I'm just about 14 weeks so I'm barely in my 2nd trimester. My nauseu is still here, but not as severe, although at night it's pretty bad. I'm really hoping it gets better in the coming weeks.

I had MS badly until I passed my 5th month. I didn't want to travel anywhere either. We were supposed to plan a babymoon to the bahamas, but it never happened between me being sick and other pregnancy complications. I was on Zofran as well
