We had the Diaper Dekor and stopped using it around 3 months I think... I find they all stink!

We have been using the Diaper Champ since DS was born and I've never had a problem with it. The only time it smells is when we open it to change the garbage bag, but obviously dirty diapers are going to stink! It never smells up his room when it is closed. We change it twice a week on garbage night. I like that it uses regular garbage bags too!

I meant to add that when I have a poopy diaper I put it in one of those little blue bags first before I put it in the Diaper Champ

Ah yes! Occasionally, we have a "blue bag special" and they work really well.

us too,, I have a stick um on the bottome just in case bu no problem in a year.. we just bought a new one because it was time..love it.

Honestly we have a small garbage can outside our backdoor and we throw all poppy diapers in there. I can't stand to have any poop diapers in our house!

Diaper champ for 13 months and love it....thought I would stop using it last week so cleaned it and put it in the basement but after 2 days I got it back out and am using it again.
I empty it twice a week and clean it out..never had a problem...now that DD is older and her diapers can be pretty stinky sometimes I always use the blue bags for these ones and it works well.

I think they all suck..The best thing to do is keep kitchen garbage bags upstairs and after each day dump the dirty dipers in the garbage outside.

I haven't heart good things about any of the diaper pails. I returned mine. I am going to just put the diapers in a plastic bag (save them when you go food shopping), tie it up, and throw it in the garbage pail outside. I did buy these plastic bags from BRU that are scented to try at first. We will see how they work.

I have been using the Diaper Dekor since he was born. I love it. I never put the poops in there though. I just put them in a poop bag and through it right out.

We don't use any diaper pail.... We have a regular garbage can in there room, but no dirty diapers of any kind in it. All dirty diapers (and poopy ones get blue bagged) go in the kitchen garbage with is taken out 2x a day to the cans outside. I could never let something build up with dirty diapers.
