DH's car in Raceway Park show this weekend!
I'm so proud of him, his car was one of 125 Scions picked from all over the country for the Scion VIP show on Sunday! He is so excited and already bought a wet vac to give the car a sound cleaning from top to bottom I'm really looking forward to it too, just about everyone on his car team is going to be there too, and my sister is even coming with her boyfriend and one of her friends too! I'm looking forward to it, I've never been to raceway park before and I think it's going to be a really good time! The best part, all the peeps who got picked for get a free lunch, entries in crazy sponsor giveaways, and get their car showcased in a special Scion VIP section It's nice to be a part of this, getting involved with his car these past few months has made DH so happy, and it's been cool meeting so many new people and making new friends I know he really appreciates my patience and support with it too - it all adds up to another wine-tasting weekend out east! If anyone is going, check out Craig's car if you get a chance!

That's fun! I have spent a LOT of weekends at Raceway Park. Bring a hat and plenty of sunscreen.

ooh, thanks for that! I was just checking the weather for Englishtown and it's going to be high 60's on Sunday, which means SPF 50 for me!

It's all very flat and open, so the sun really beats down, plus the pit it all asphalt, so it gets really hot

Congrats--and yes, def bring sun screen. And wear sneakers!! The 1st time DH took me there I had on flip flops and what a mess!! The actual track/pit area is asphalt and so is most of the parking lot-but a big part of the lot is dirt-and of course we got there late and had to park in the dirt. Yuck!
Now, I always wear sneakers and sunscreen!!
---And this absolutely means you get a wine tasting day--everytime we go DH knows that means I get to pick something the following weekend!!---
