dh and I are going to be godparents sunday....help!!!
This is our first time and I really have no idea what to get the baby??? My cousin already bought the outfit because they are upstate....is it traditional to get a small gold cross and a chain??? should we get a savings bond too?? any help is very appreciated!!

the godmother usually gets the outfit and godfather a cross...
Who made that rule up I don't know.
I'd go with a cross and chain. I also gave my Godson a bond.

The godparents of Jared got him his outfit and a bib with his name on it. They also were very generous and got him a white gold cross with diamonds.
