Decorating ideas for my bedroom
this is the color scheme I like (though I am not averse to chaning how I use the colors)
I really like this bed. it's a nice pewter color with a bit of blue in it, similar to our master bathroom.
I'd like to get darker brown wood furnishings...and also bed coverings to make it warm.
my husband is concerned the bed doesn't look to welcoming...I think the use of browns will change that..
what do you guys think?
suggestions are most welcome!

I think that the right plush bedding/colors/accessories will DEF warm that bed up. the picture you have there makes it look so cold and blah!

I think once you put the room together and add lots of pillows it will definitely look welcoming.
It's a beautiful bed! And I love your color scheme!

I used similar colors in my dining room and kitchen. The dark brown and black wood warm up the room and I think make it look very relaxed and inviting! I have some pics in my album if you want to see the colors. We used BM Yarmouth Blue in Dining Room and Buxton Blue in Kitchen.

Color the color scheme! I think with a nice plush comforter and pillows it will look nice and warm and comfortable. All the right accessories will make it a very inviting room with warmth.

Those blues are gorgeous and the things you want to do make me think of toile. I LOVE toile! But I know not everyone does- I also think it's something that looks better when you follow the "less is more" philosophy.

I would use some chocolate brown with the bedding to warm it up a bit maybe mixed with blue. I really like the color scheme though.
I know it sounds "70's" but I have seen nice faux fur dark chocolate throws. They looked super luxurious and cozy.
