DD is starting OT for Sensory Processing Disorder
Man I really, really hope this begins to help her. This has been so frustrating for both of us. I feel bad getting angry but some days I just can't take anymore of the meltdowns that seem to be a result of what she's going through.
She had her evaluation on Thursday and it was so nice to hear affirmation that she definitely has things going on and I'm not a terrible mom that just can't deal.

Just wanted to say good luck! I am an OT - you're not a terrible mom, SPD can be so tough.

I just wanted to say that I think it is so wonderful that you are being proactive. I am sure you will see positive results. You've taken the first step in the right direction. I am sure that it has been very frustrating.

You are definitely doing the right thing and OT will help tremendously. DS started OT at 15 months for the same thing (SPD) and it really really helped him out..
