DD hasn't pooped since Saturday. Help question...
She is passing plenty of gas....last night vommited all over the place....She just started Zantac on Tuesday.
One day last week she was constipated and then pooped massivly. (sorry tmi) I tried the themometer...but nothing. Any suggestions?

This happened to my son and my ped said if he didn't go I could try a little prune juice. It never came to that though. However, I would talk to your ped before trying the prune juice.

She may be too young for prune juice. I would talk with the dr. It's only been two days, which usually doesn't alarm the dr. But you may want to ask the dr your options now, so you can have stuff in the house if you need it in a few days. If she threw up yesterday, she might not have much in her system to form poop.
I do know that moving their legs in a bicycle motion helps. Also, you can gently rub from their left hip, to their belly button and down to their right hip. (Kind of like a semi-circle.) Continue that gentle rub motion for 5 minutes.

i dont think not pooping since saturday requires ANY attention unless you think your dc looks uncomfortable..
are you BFing? FFing? Both??
my dd usually goes every 3 days..my ped always says that unless it gets closer to 5-7 days then you could start trying with a thermometer, warm baths, tummy rubs, glycerin suppositories if necessary..i wouldnt worry too much, call your dr if youre concerned though

Thanks everyone. I am EBF....with 1 formula bottle at night. She is uncomfortable. She grunts and it looks like she is trying to push it out. (very sad to watch)
She goes usually goes every day and in every diaper always has a poop mark. always. Dh and I have seen nothing...that is what alarmed us.

I do remember when he was a few months old that he switched from pooping everyday to pooping every other day.

yup my dd too..she went from going every day at 4pm, to going every 3 days..i think youre ok..
my dd also leaves a poop stain on her diaper ;) i hope this doesnt signify what her undies wil look like later in life
