Days of Our Lives makes me feel old
The last time I watched, Will was a baby. Sami and Lucas hated each other. Maggie Horton was blind. Hope had another personality. John was Roman, Roman was John. Where does the time go?
Does ANYONE remember the "Salem Strangler" story line? That's how Roman and Marlena got together in the early 80s.

I watched until about 1997...I then turned it on a year later and the kids were 20 years old...they didn't exactly "grow up"!! It was weird.

I remember the Salem strangler. I loved that storyline, except for Eugene...
I think I stopped watching when they had the Jennifer/Peter and Tony is now bad storyline.

My mom used to videotape this show everyday when I was growing up and I would watch it pretty often with her every night. I remember watching when Hope & Bo got married.

Me too! I go through kicks ... will watch for a few months, then not for 2 years ... always can pick it up again, always say this is THE LAST TIME, and then get hooked again.
i just started watching again because they've written Autism into the storyline ... Theo, Abe and Lexi's son.

I watched regliously from like 95-2003ish? from Austin & carries interrupted wedding til When Chloe left the first time after cancer.
I used to watch it with my mom back in the eighties so I remeber certain things like Carly being buried alive...Hope in the Tank "dying"
I thought Bo was so hot when i was a wee lil kid LOL

Do you guys remember the Cruise of Deception????? I also loved when they killed off Hope in the 90's in Stefanos pot of boiling acid -- she was suspended over it in a cage.
My favorite episode still is when Jennifer married Jack for the first time. It was the sweetest and they were the couple who most seemed in love. I loved their little love/hate relationship!!!
Bring back the old days!!!

I remember the strangler. My mom watched the show & I of course got into it. Steve & Kayla were always my favorites!
I stopped watching when Marlena was possesed. (so dumb)
I started watching again when I became a SAHM. But, I refused to get sucked in "unless they brought back Steve & Kayla" and what did they do. Bring back Steve & Kayla. Have been watching ever since. They are rumored to be fired again!

I watched from about 95-2000, and watched a little again in about 2005-2006. Every now and then I will still watch a few. I don't know what happened to a few story lines. Last time I was watching with any regularity, Shawn had found out Claire was his daughter, and I think Philip had kidnapped Claire or something. When I first starting watching, the big plot I remember was Austin and Carrie finally getting back together, and then Carrie cheating on Austin with Mike. I also remember Hope and Bo getting back together after the Billie years. I heart Days. I've forced myself not to watch over the years. Even when I wasn't watching I'd sometimes keep track of plots through Dustin's Days of our Lives website. It gave great summaries and spoilers.
