Daycare recommendations needed!
While I was pregnant we lined up care for our son, he was supposed to start next week. Anyway long story short the woman who was going to watch him has decided it is too much (she has her daughter home with her who is 10 mths old and then 3 kids after school). She is worried how her daughter is going to handle having another baby around, someone to occupy her attention. I am not mad and understand, but am now in a total bind. I am stressed enough with work and crap and now this. So now I have to start searching for daycare. Any recommendations? I would really appreciate it! We live in Levittown, so somewhere in that area.

I would prefer home daycare, but since this happened suddenly I am now keeping my options opened.

DS is at Tutor Time in Levittown. They had some violations. They have a new director and they "cleaned up" house.
His teacher is really nice and DS loves her.

Also, I found some names of licensed home care workers on the Nassau Child Council website (although so far no one has a spot for me). I'm in Wantagh.
I believe there is a Tutor Time by you, but there have been violations at that site.
