daycare question- pack and play vs crib

how important is it that the child have a crib vs pack and play in the daycare?

just visited a place I think we are going to use.. the PNP was the only thing i saw that i wasnt expecting..

I wouldn't think that a crib is necessary at daycare at all. DS has a p-n-p at the babysitter.

The first daycare we used had all the kids in PNP's that were supplied by you.
My son slept fine in it. They use them since they can be folded away for more space.

the place we looked at had them all open.. it seems like its just their preference to use PNP over the crib... i guess i dont need to worry about it since its only for sleep time anywaysChat Icon

I don't think it makes a difference either way. A portable crib (that's what they generally use) is about the same size.

My DD napped in a PnP for two years at day care just fine.
