Daycare Moms: How often did YOU get sick during DC's first year at daycare?
I'm now on my 4th cold in less than 2 months. Each one seems worse than the last.  Before that, I hadn't been sick in well over a year. I knew DS would get sick a lot in daycare, but I didn't realize how often I'd get sick. We all keep passing things back and forth.
How often did you get sick during DC's first year at daycare? Did it get better after the first year? Please give me hope.

I didn't get sick at all. Poor DD had a number of ear infections, had a runny nose a number of times and the flu.
I got a stomach virus a few weeks ago, but that wasn't DD's fault, I think I caught it at work.

We haven't completed our first year in day care yet, but I've got a little something right now that DD was sweet enough to share with me. 
I've gotten sick - even if it was just a minor cold - each and every time she's been sick since she started day care. So that means a cold or worse every 3 weeks since September.
It will get better! It has to!!

I got sick more than he did. There were bugs that were going around and I got them but he did not! Hang in there. None of it was as bad as I thought it would be.

DS has been in daycare since January and "knock on wood" zero times. So far we've been lucky he's only been sick once since starting.

It gets better. I used to catch everything DS would catch. Now, I've gone back to my usual self and DS hasn't gotten as sick. It took six months to get out of the cycle though!

The first time Nate when to daycare he was 12 months. We were all sick (including my ILs) for the 6 months or so. He brought home so many colds and stomach bugs.
It's so much better now, we definitely don't get sick as often.

Half dozen times or so. SHE got/gets sick a lot.

I started a thread about this a while ago and I think I used these exact words! 
We are on month 7 of daycare. He has been sick with at least a cold every 2-3 weeks. I have gotten pretty much everything about a day or two after he has. I too am hoping it will be better next winter because I think I now have one sick day left for now, before I can accrue more.

Maybe Once, he rarely gets sick (as do I) and I probably haven't had any kind of sickness outside of food poisoning, since April of last year. Like an OX I am.
