CPSE meeting today
i cannot contain how excited i am. i always go in expecting the worse, and walk out feeling great but this is beyond exciting.
AJ is almost 4 (Aug) he gets full day at BOCES CRC and weekly at home 3x30 speech, 3x60 SEIT & 3x60 parent training.
we went for our annual review today and he is keeping EVERYTHING for the summer and for sept 2011. we will revisit again in Nov, but we honestly thought he would be loosing home services this summer and possibly in the fall.
his IEP need to be amended for home, we are adding in Theory of Mind, Social Behavior, more Pragmatics, and feelings for home. we have been Piggy backing off of what his school goals were. i am just so excited.

That's great!
We were nervous about summer too, since our parent trainer told us she heard a lot of the districts are cutting summer services.
When they tell you what you want to hear, you want to jump up and leave the room before anyone changes their minds.

Awesome! Always best to have too many services and dropping them as they become un-needed than the other way around
