Could wearing this work?

I'm having a hard time finding shirts for work. I like the tighter tank top underneath a button up shirt, but I'm finding that the maternity button up shirts just look horrible. Of course I only found 1 at Target, but it just looks really bad. Would wearing a non maternity button up shirt open with the maternity shirt underneath work together or do you think I would need the button up shirt to be a maternity one? Chat Icon I've seen some pretty spring color one's, but the maternity ones don't look good on me. They seem soooo short and stick out. Thanks!

I think that would be fine. Do whatever you're comfortable with, there's nor right or wrong way of doing it.

Re: Could wearing this work?

Thanks! I'm a very plain person, so finding maternity shirts that I like has been very difficult for me. They're all either lacey, paisley, beaded, etc. I like the plain shirts. I was only able to buy 2 t-shirts and 2 polo looking shirts. The other shirts I try on either haven't been fitting me in one way or another. Chat Icon I found some stuff online, but the chances of them actually fitting and me liking them are slim to none. That's why I was thinking about going the other way with the open shirt. It might be easier. Oh well...

Have you tried Kohls? They have some nice button downs that are really comfy.

As long as your comfortable, you can definitely keep wearing regular button downs -- with me, though, there came a point where regular shirts were shorter than my belly.

I've been wearing regular button down tops with the maternity tank top underneath.

Do you leave them open? What size are you wearing in the regular one's? Thanks!

Unfortunately my maternity button ups are no longer buttoning up so I've been wearing them open with a maternity tank underneath. I think it works especially sonce the weather is getting nicer.
