Contemporary Women's Care in Smithtown?
I have an appointment with Dr. Paone. Anyone have any input on this place?

I love the practice. I usually see Dr. Rubin who is awesome, but I saw Dr. Paone the last time I was there and I really liked him too. He is very young, doesn't look like a doctor!

I've never been to a male gyno before.
I don't like to see males....don't know why.
He's young? oh boy..i'm going to feel weird!

ITA. I saw Dr. Paone once and he was really great. I didn't get that uncomfortable feeling with him. I usually see Dr. Rubin and she really is awesome.

I didn't feel uncomfortable with him at all. Don't worry! I used to feel the same way about not liking to see males too, but after all this IF stuff so many people have looked at my hoo-ha it doesn't matter anymore!
Just think of it this way- it is his job, he sees a million a day! He will make you feel at ease, I have no doubt, and there will be a female nurse in ther room with him.

The delivered my DD and now will be delivering my DS in October. I cannot speak highly enough about this practice!! I adore Dr.'s Rubin & Paone but like them all.

I see them as well. They are great. Dr. Rubin and Paone delivered my little girl last April. I was actually there yesterday for my annual visit and was surprised to see Dr. Rubin very pregnant - she is due in 2 weeks

I just wanted to say that.
In other words the appointment went well. Everyone there made me feel so comfortable.
That's awesome...I wound up with them at 32 weeks b/c my OB lost his delivering doctors..Dr Paone agreed to see me and he delivered DS.
Im really happy with the care and all the doctors..

They are all really good. I love Dr. Rubin. Dr. McKenna is very nice, very chatty. I have only met Dr. Escamilla once, but she was very nice.
Dr. Paone left to go teach, he and his wife are expecting a baby this winter.
