computer question (probably a "for dummies" type of question)

my laptop used to give me a red squiggly line under words that were misspelled... no matter what i was doing: typing something online or using software.

now, it's all gone.
the red line only shows up in msword, but not when i'm doing other stuff.

what kind of setting did i accidentally screw up?

suddenly i feel really stupid and realize that i don't know how to spell... my crutch is gone.

help me, pleese

Chat Icon get that, i misspelled that on purpose lol
