Can you stay later and let her leave first? What about saying you have appointments or lunch with someone so she can't go with you?

You need to be honest with her, to save your butt.
Be straight forward, and let her know that she's not viewed as one of the best employees, and right now you would like to keep your distance to stay under the radar till all this passes. If you don't do something and you lose your job because of her, that would be really horrible!
And going to your boss and telling him IMO is really petty. He has so many bigger issues on his plate and having an employee come to him about this may only dig the grave deeper.
