Cleaning while Pregnant
I just cleaned, we're getting a new dishwasher and stove delivered tomorrow, and needless to say the grime behind the stove and the dishwasher was never cleaned so I used a lot of the Clorox spray with bleach and I just kept thinking about the fumes....is it bad for me??? Did I just hurt the bean???

It's not the best thing in the world but one afternoon of exposure is not going to harm the bean. Don't worry about it. I clean my BR with Clorox clean-up and there is no window in there so it's bad. Just try to keep it ventilated when you are cleaning and have DH do the bleaching

OK, cool it wasn't even an afternoon it was more like 20 minutes of it and then told DH I was scared I was harming beany...and stopped

i cleaned all the time using clorox bleach and ds is fine. as long as it is ventilated

DH needs some coaxing still on it, I think since I'm so early and not showing yet he still doesn't "see" me as pregnant, maybe if I puke next to him (DH has no tolerance for that) he'll believe me

I hear ya... it will begin to sink in soon for him....
oh, I should add.... you have no idea the level of commitment doing 'all the nasty chemical stuff' means in our household. I work in a lab, and DH works a couple floors below me... I actually give him a call whenever I have to work with something stinky that can't be in the fume hood! poor guy gets it at home AND at work

I actually got a cleaning lady when I got my BFP, just so that I don't have to worry one way or the other.
But I DO use the Clorox wipes in between, and hope those are ok...
