Cleaning lady Questions.....I KNOW this has been asked a million times before.
I am looking for a GOOD cleaning lady thats not to much money and will come to the Bayshore/Islip area.

Im using merry maids. Actually they are comming for the first time today, so I will let you know how it goes. But I didnt think the price was so bad. We are having them do the full finished basement which is full bathroom, office, living room, kitchen, stairs, upstairs they are doing bathroom, kitchen & living room and one more set of stairs. All for $105 every other week. If we wanted weekly it would be $85.00. This includes cleaning floors. I was getting prices on here of $60-75. I think we are having them do a lot (2 pple come) and they are licensed & insured which makes me feel better. Good luck

I went home on my lunch hr for a quick peak and so far I am happy. Im not sure what time they arrived, but I think it was like 11:30. they are still there and it is 3. Everything looks good. Oh but I did forget to metion that the intial cleaning is more, I paid $350 becuase they scrub everything the fist time and then it will be the $105. What they do is everytime they come, they do a deep cleaning on one or two rooms and they rotate it,so everytime they are here rooms good deep cleanings. Am I making sense.

Do you give them a key? Are they insured?

i found my ladies on here and so far am THRILLED with them!!
2 came and stayed 2.5 hours. everything was shining when they were done and they got all the nooks of my house. it's $75 every other week for my 4 bedroom, 2 bath house.
i'm so glad i found them! i can't imagine paying $350 for the initial cleaning...that's so much money and i think my ladies did a great first cleaning.

I know the initial cleaning is expensive. But they were here from a little over 4 hrs.

Seriously! this is why I just gave up my lady.....
she came every 2 weeks to do the heavy stuff, but now my husband recently took a new interest in cleaning the tiles in my BR &whatnot,
so I figured that could be extra $ in my pocket-lol!
I have a woman who was excellent tho-she came to massapequa, wasnt expensive at all, I will find out if she will travel a little east for you!

I found my cleaning lady through a coworker. I would ask around in your area if you don't want to use a commercial cleaning company.
