CIO Questions - more info on Scotch Eggs

Well we tried crying it out tonight to get the nipper into his own bed in his own room. It was time for the co-sleeping to stop and for him to finally sleep on his own, in his room.

So at 7.55 pm we started and the hub and I were downstairs eating our scotch eggs* by around 8.30. So it worked pretty well. I put his down in his crib awake and within around 30 minutes, he was fast asleep. The crying wasn't that bad and I felt really good about it.

So, what do I do when he wakes up in the night? I am assuming that I do the same, let him cry for 5 minutes, comfort him, 10 minutes comfort him etc and hope he goes to sleep. If he is hungry, do I give him a bottle?

Anyway, so far so good. And ladies, I get to have my chunky hunky husband back in bed with me. Lucky me.

Well, the scotch egg is a mystical magical concoction invented in Scotland in ancient times. A magical mystical chef takes the egg of a chicken, boils it in magic well water for 10-12 minutes, cracks the shell off, and waits until its cool.

Once its cool, that magical mystical chef takes sausage meat and tenderlymakes a home for the hard boiled egg inside and then covers it in breadcrumbs, gathered from a loaf of bread made a sir by the Queen. Once that sausage meat covered egg is delicately wrapped in sausage meat and golden bread crumbs, it is VIOLENTLY dunked into a vat of hot fat and fried to a sort of goldy fried colour.

That my friend is the magic of a Scotch Egg.
Are they delicious? Are they tasty? Well, kind of, if you like that sort of thing.
