Christmas Tree Shops
Dh and I want to make a day of this. Any thoughts which location is better- Danbury, CT or Staten Island?
Any restaurant recs by either? Happy to be starting my holiday shopping.

if you want to make a day of it go out to paramus or freehold in nj... its a bit of a hike but u have huge malls next to them...
paraumus is closed on a sunday though
i jsut came from the freehold one it was a madhouse!

I like the one in Paramus. It's next to Ikea, Bed Bath and Beyond and my favorite the Garden State Plaza. Paramus is in Bergen County and they have that blue law which means all the stores are closed on Sunday.

We go to the one in Spring Valley, NY. It's about an hour away with no traffic. It's not far from Woodbury Commons if you are looking for something else to do. We usually go to Stew Leonards too.

I live about 5 minutes away from the one in Paramus...and I have only been there 1x  It's always so busy!!

I live in MA and we have one on Cape Cod that I LOVE!!!! And one right around the corner from us and it's never busy. I guess because hardly anyone will travel to Marshfield to go to a christmas tree shop.

Cant wait to go. We are going to the one in CT, and stop at CRacker Barrel. I love it. My mom, sister and I have made a tradition out of it. This year my daughter will come along for the first time. Its a day I really look forward to.

i have yet to go to a christmas tree shop---but hear great things about them. i know one is coming to deer park but don't know when. i may take a ride to one of them soon...

a Christmas Tree shop is coming to Deer Park??? really? that would be AWESOME!
We were at the one in Staten Island last weekend and they didn't have 100% xmas stuff out yet, but it was a good selection :)
