Chi Want One
I am a little confused about this organization... what exactly do they do? are they a breeder? there is a chi puppy for sale on their site for $1300. If they are a rescue place, why would they ask for such a steep adoption fee?
no offense intended, I am just really confused at their intentions. Someone please clarify? TIA!

Brittany is a breeder, but she also does rescue. Usually her adoptees are expensive because they have had extensive surgeries and such. (like Lucy & Linus)

but I don't understand why breed, when you know first hand how many chi chis needs to be rescued?

I am not looking for a dog right now but when I was looking for a chihuahua, I was told about Chi Want One... which I thought is a chi rescue organization. That's why I was shocked to see that there is a chi for sale for $1300.
I respect rescuers, but I do not get is, why breed when you are a "rescuer"?

she's not a rescuer. she is a breeder who, when needed, takes in chis that have been neglected and she pays to get all their surgeries and stuff.
