Chewable vitamins for a 1.5 year old?
My 19 month old hates the vitamin drops. I know he would be able to chew the chewable vitamins that my older dd takes, but when I asked the pediatrician if he could switch to a prescription for chewable, she said not for a while, so I guess when he's 2? Are there any over the counter vitamins that are chewable for under 2 years old? Or any tricks for getting the drops in to him? He sees thru the apple sauce trick.

Could you give him half of a gummy vitamin? Those are easy to cut in half and my kids love them.

We started giving half of a flintstones vitamin at around 1.5. I taught her the chew chew chew and I watch her. The peds were fine with this and gave a separate fluoride chewable (which I fill and dint give her because she uses fluoride toothpaste and I’m on the fence about ingestable fluoride). If the fluoride is your doctors reservation, then this is a good solution.

I switched my ds and my sister switched my nephew at 18 months to the chewable prescription ones. Our pediatrician just gave them a smaller dose.
