They don't do it unless there is medical reason. I didn't have it done with my first pregnancy, but did have it at 37 weeks with my second.

they checked mine at 32 weeks but my doc said it was totally unnecessary since i am not that big.

thank you ladies...im asking because im not that "big" and i was worried about the size of the baby so hes doing one at about 31 weeks. The doctor measured my stomach and said everythings fine but i just want to make sure...and i get to see her
