Cedar Creek Park to Jones Beach
Anyone ever take that path to the beach? Are there bathrooms along the way? Anyone know how long it is one way?

I did, YEARS ago! No bathrooms along the way. It is quite a few miles (not sure how many)

No bathrooms but once you get to Jones Beach, you can use their facilities. Just nothing in between the stretch. Its about 4 or 5 miles one way I beleive.

No bathrooms. IT is about 5 miles or so. It is also under the sun, no shade, so keep yourself hydrated as it can get hot.

There are bathrooms at the park in the little cement house right near the path entrance. I then hold it till I get to the beach

That's what I'm concerned about! I would like to run it but for 4-5 miles I'd have to run/walk because I won't be able to run the whole thing, plus all teh water I'll be chugging... and no bathrooms!  Yeah.... i'm not thinking it's my best idea!

Here's what I do a few days a week: hit field 6 and run/walk on the boardwalk till the end (2 miles) and then head back! I think it's a lot nicer on the boardwalk than next to the Wantagh Parkway. Of course the boardwalk gets busy in the summer, but during the week in the morning or after work is great. (And plenty of bathrooms along the way!)

I used to bike ride it everyday..I dont think there was any bathrooms. Maybe at the theater but thats at the end. I think its 4 miles each way.
