Carriage House in Babylon
Has anyone had or been to a baby shower at the Carriage House? How was the food? Atmosphere? Are there any other places in that area that would be good for a baby shower? I live in Dix Hills and I would like it close to my house. Thanks!

i haven't been to a shower there, but i LOVE the Carriage House! It's got a great atmosphere and the food is amazing!! I think that Argyle Grill in babylon also has a party room, but i'm not sure.

I had my showe there this past November and it was AWESOME. The upstairs room is gorgeous. There was so much food and it was delicious. The staff was great and even carried out all my gifts to the cars. I have a few pics in my album as well. My friends and family all raved about it

Was just there today for my sprinkle!! Staff was amazing, private room was perfect, food was delicious! Price was reasonable.
I have nothing but nice things to say

I was looking at pictures of the room...I will have around 65 people (I am still trying to cut). Is the room divided? I would be worried that whoever wasn't sitting on "my" side would feel separated from the party.

I agree with Jess...Her Sprinkle was beautiful they did a really great job... food was great!!

It definitely is a nice place for a shower -- and the food is good. But the prices for 2011 they gave me, were a bit steep for what I wanted. (A sit down luncheon).
If you have the budget, it is a great place.

I was at a shower here and it was beautiful but honestly the food wasnt anything great IMO

I went to a bridal shower on the 2nd floor. It was buffet style....IT was a beautiful shower and I thought the food was good. It was a brunch.
ETA your question about the layout of the room...it was a little ackward as the winding staircase is in the middle of the room so all the tables were around the staircase so it was sort of divided. However, she sat in the front middle when opening presents and it was fine.
