Carpet getting installed tomorrow!
Just got a call from the carpet installers. They'll be over tomorrow! This is the last major task in the house. After this, we can start moving in!
We got the high-end padding, and the carpet is the Mohawk SmartStrand corn-based carpet. Environmentally friendly, and much healthier for DC. It also has extremely good stain resistance built-in, so it never has to be reapplied, unlike ScotchGuard-type stuff.
Of course, there will be pictures.....
