car seat question--anyone else have trouble reaching the seat if it is in the middle
We have an SUV that is very high up and the car seat is in the middle, as the police inspector recommended. I can't seem to get the hang of getting in there to install the car seat. I am recovering from a C-section and I have not driven yet. DH drives. But even if I were not recovering, I still think that the car seat in the middle will be a huge hassle for me. Should I move it to one side? I'd rather do what is the absolute safest but I hope I can get used to it!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I am 5 ft. 2 in and reaching the middle seat for the car seat is a PITA for sure but best place for it. I never thought I would say it but next time I am getting a....MINIVAN! AHHH!!!!

That's why I put the carseat behind the front passenger seat. I could not reach the middle. I am short and have back problems. The last thing I need is to mess up my back to put a carseat in the car.

yeah I put it behind the front passenger seat...we had it inspected, there is no problem with it being there...plus, its all my car would allow
