Car Seat protector

Are you using a seat protector under the car seat?

One one hand, it would be great to protect my beige upholstery but on the other, I do not believe car seats are certified when using one. Chat Icon

What are you going to do?

Re: Car Seat protector

When I had the infant seat installed, the cop told me that the seat is not secure with those protector things because it can move.

Re: Car Seat protector

We have fabric seats so yes we will be getting protectors. If when we take it to the police station for installation and inspection and we are told that it is not safe, we will find an alternative or DH will simply have to buy me a new car with leather seats (heated preferably).

Re: Car Seat protector

They are not safe. They get terrible reviews too. The car seat can slide very easily with the protectors.

Re: Car Seat protector

Yes I do have one. I have my seat so tight in that car, I am not too worried.

Re: Car Seat protector

We aren't getting one based on poor reviews and they seem unsafe.
