Can you recommend a nice mini-vacation that is driving distance from NYC?
We'd like to go away for a weekend getaway with 10m old DS.

Shelter Island. It's beautiful, quiet, and you can make it from NYC in about two hours.

It's up by Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun but there's a cute little village there and an outdoor aquarium
