Can you give me some breakfast ideas...
Ryan has been giving me a real hard time about eating lately ESP @ breakfast...
It HAS to be something he can self feed... so anything thats off a spoon wont work!
I think part of it is-- he is bored of the same stuff... So can you please give me some ideas... here is what we usually have:
Scrambled eggs w/ cheese or omlet w/ cheese
homemade pancakes
homemade french toast
store bought waffles, french toast sticks, and pancakes (I bought all different kinds, whole wheat, reg. banana etc..)

Emily loves home fries...
usually on the weekend she has things like french toast, pancakes, etc.
during the week at the babysitters she has fruit and a cereal bar...or fruit and yogurt (for some reason she eats it for the babysitter even though it's from a spoon)

cheerios with bananas in it? that's spencers favorite. or when i cut out a circle in a piece of toast and fry and egg in it. i forget what that's called! oatmeal?

That is so funny. Every morning I ask my son what he wants for breakfast and he replies a waffle. I offer him everything and he only wants waffles. He is probably going on a whole month of eating waffles for breakfast.

It's called an Eagle Eye! I used to love those when I was a kid... Haven't had one in sooo long.... Mmmmmmmmmm

It's called an Eagle Eye! I used to love those when I was a kid... Haven't had one in sooo long.... Mmmmmmmmmm
We call it a Hole in One. We'll do oatmeal, muffins, corn toasties, sunny side up eggs, ham & cheese omlettes, cheerios w. blueberries, yogurt (and granola), kix, french toast, waffles. I try to add in fruit or bacon. Maddie will eat it, Joseph won't.

Ryan eats those no sugar added peach cups like its going outta style- seriously he eats 2-3 cups a day
To me thats not breakfast though...
He does eat cereal bars- but I feel like it wont fill him up....

we do the same as you.
dry cheerios/puffs to play with
cut up fruit
yogurt
toast w/ cream cheese
plain waffle w/ all fruit spread
flavored waffles
homemade pancakes
french toast stix
cottage cheese....have you tried that? Aly will eat it off the spoon. I'm sure you could mix it with fruit spread or baby fruit to flavor it
what about cereal floating in some milk, or if you let it sit in the milk then give it to him without the bowl of milk (a pile of mushy cereal?)
regular oatmeal flavored with her baby fruit or the flavored instant

DH calls it Egg in a Nest. He says they loved that as kids.
