Can we talk highchairs?

I just can't pick one. What did you choose??

Also, should I even pick one to put on the registry or wait until the baby is ready for one and buy it on our own????

We went for the Chicco Polly High Chair--it got good reviews and it seemed to fit our current decor much better than some of the brighter color ones. We registered for it...haven't had a shower yet....

Only register for it if you have storage space, because its BIG and you won't be using it for about 6 months!

Re: Can we talk highchairs?

Im waiting to get one....

as a BTDT i'd rather wait...

my one suggestion would be to make sure that you get one that is:

Easy to clean...

and if you live in a house:

light weight...I used to take off the cover and bring the thing outside to hose it off...(couldnt get it any cleaner than that)

I had the space to store it also so I registered for it.

The ones that received good rating are:
Chicco
Peg Perego
Baby Trend
Fisher Price

I got the Fisher Price. I agree about hosing off the pad. The amount of food that gets in there is nasty!

Re: Can we talk highchairs?

I wanted "gear" that went with our decor a little better. The rain forresst stuff is so cute but so bright.

DH took one look at the collection and said that's all he wanted (witch is everything Chat Icon )

Rain forrest it is! BUT I'm not getting the highchair.

It takes up so much space so we are getting the highchair that straps to a regular chair.

This is what we went with as well... I have plenty of room for the high chair, but my sister got this and I LOVE that the baby eats at the table with you and that it is lightweight and portable.....
