i use bumble and bumble hair powder. its not marketed as a shampoo but it freshens up your hair, takes the "greasy" appreance away, and has many of the same uses as dry shampoo.

i like it and have used it for years now.

I've heard great things about this.. but it confuses me... it's a powder right? What color is it? My hair is dark... I feel like you'd see the powder.. Chat Icon

They make a powder and a spray. I have the powder. It's white and even with my blonde hair, I really have to work it in so that it doesn't show, but it works really well.

I use the Oscar Blandi powder & I have dark hair. I just brush it through & it disappears.

The spray might be better, but I haven't tried it yet.

i tried the spray, I didnt like it....I dont think it works as well.
My hair is pretty much black. The powder is white, but you just have to rub it and make sure it disappears. It really makes it look like you washed you hair....def worth it.

I have this too. I have dark hair and as long as you work the powder through it's fine. I bought a small one at Sephora to try to see if I liked it and I do!

Ok I bought this and tried it (I have dark hair) and it does not come out. IMO it is for people with blond hair. It made my hair look ashy and gray.

I hated the Oscar Blondi spray. It smelled so bad and I didn't think it did a good job at all. and it left white flakes all over everything once it dried.

I had the same experience, minus the flakes. I just didn't think it worked that well.

I use a great-smelling powder by Stila. But like all powders, you really have to get in there and rub it in or brush it through so it disappears.

I just use a little at a time (of the powder) and put it directly on my scalp. I rub in with my fingers & then brushit through with a natural bristle brush. The only time I have a problem is if I get too much on my hairline, then I have to rub it in with my fingers.

My scalp & roots get very oily though, so maybe that's why it absorbs easily?

Not at all...I sprayed a bit and far away from the roots and it stuck to my haor and would not brush out...maybe its not for all kinds of hair.

I've never heard of dry shampoo! Is it good for us curly-headed ladies?
