Can I buy a mattress for a bassinet?
I just picked up a bassinet from my cousins house - it has been in my family for about 60 years and every baby in my family has slept in this bassinett.
I would like to get a new mattress just to be on the safe side - where do you think I can get one?

They do? OK Great. Do you know if they are all standard sizes? I can always measure the one that is in there now I guess.

I think so. The one I saw in Westbury was thicker than the one that usually come with the bassinet.
ETA.. you could always bring your matress to check the size

My mom ordered the one for my bassinett from BRU, but when we went to the store near me they had them. And sheets. I really like the jersey knit sheets. They are really nice and soft.
