Can I ask a dumb question?
I am on my 3rd baby, and can't believe I don't know what exactly a lap pad is......I just always thought they were like burp rags. Is that way off?

I believe that is exactly what they are....just a pad to put on your lap....
We are going to use burp cloths that will do the same thing.

my mom told me that they are like burp cloths that have a rubbery bottom so the liquid (whatever it may be ) doesn't soak through onto your clothes.
