California during Winter recess: crazy idea?
We are thinking of going to California during winter recess, visiting Legoland and doing other such things that one does when going to California with the kids....
Anyone did that? Is that a crazy idea because the entire east coast goes to the west coast with their children during the school break? Any ideas, opinions, experiences?

I thought the entire east coast went to Disney during most breaks so doesn't sound so crazy to me.

LOL. Exactly. Cali will be deserted.
Funny though because we are thinking of going to Cali right after school gets out in June.
I want to do Disney LAND because I can't bring myself to do Disney World.
This way we can see the west coast as well.

California during Winter recess: crazy idea?
Most people don't have a "winter" break, so I highly doubt it would be jam packed. I have friends all over the place, and only us NY people have a week off.

I think any place 'kid centric' is always somewhat crowded. But I don't think CA in general is somplace you'd have to worry about being insanely, miserabley packed w/ tourists
