Bumbo Seat

On a website, it said that the Bumbo Seat holds up to 22 pounds. Do you think it's worth getting, with Jared being 15 pounds already? He has such chunky legs, I think they'd get stuck in there!Chat Icon

Re: Bumbo Seat

Kevin started getting stuck in his before 20lbs...he is a chunky boy.....he has big turkey legs. But he would try to pull himself our of it I would say at 4/5 months - so those stuck turkey legs may have kept him from falling out of it. It is real cute but to tell you the truth - Kevin never loved it so I didn't use it as much as some people do. He would spit up a lot in it too.

Re: Bumbo Seat

I want to get one also, but Nate is also has chunky legs and is at least 17lbs now. I don't want to waste $50 if he's only going to use for such a short time. It would help if they sold it in stores that way I could try it out.

Re: Bumbo Seat

I had to stop using our bumbo because Mallorys legs are so chunky, I had to shoehorn her out everytimeChat Icon It's probably not worth getting it for such a short time.

Re: Bumbo Seat

I wouldnt get it.. Logan is 17 lbs now and his legs barely fit. Plus I am beginning to think it wasn't worth the $. He isn't comfortable in it and spits up the whole time he is sitting.

Re: Bumbo Seat

Thanks girls...you saved me some money.

I wished they sold it in Babies R Us so I could have tried it out as well.
