BTDT Moms...Car Seat Question...
Did you or are you planning to use the same car seat for DC #1 and #2? Or did you get a new car seat for each child? I am trying to figure out what pattern I should go for (neutral vs. girly...)

I bought DS a neutral color travel system. Navy blue with yellow accent because I did not want to buy everything again.
If we are successful in TTC, DS will be 2 years when baby #2 comes along.
We will use the same carseat.
It general it is advised not to use a carseat older than 5 years old.

we are using the same infant carrier/car seat for #2. We bought a neutral gray & bluish/purple so it would be good for wither sex

I chose a pale blue & grey infant carrier & stroller and got a neutral bigger car seat! Good for boy or girl!

We also bought a neutral color for DS's infant seat so we will be using that one again for this baby. There will be 22 mos between DS and baby #2.

We bought a neutral color the first time around with the intentions of reusing it. So, yes, we'll use the green infant carrier that we have.

We will use the same infant seat for leaving the hospital and for when we are using someone else's car. I am going to buy another Britax b/c DS will still be in his.
ETA: We got the car seats to match the inside of our car, so they are all neutral.

I hope to use the car seat for baby #2. I heard that you can use a car seat for up to 5 years. After that you need a new one. I will be getting a neutral color.

Same here. We don't know what we're having, but we would've gotten neutral items regardless of the sex so we could use them again.

yup neutral here too...gear is expensive and I can't see spending money for a pattern when neutral ones look nice too!
