BTDT Moms Who were Induced and now Pregnant with their Second

I was induced at 5 days late and really had a great experience.

I hope to have the same quick easy delivery that I had with the first - and I was curious......

For those moms that were induced the first time - are you planning to be induced again?

Are you planning to wait till you reach your due date to be induced? before? after?

I think this time around - I really don't want to talk induction until I am past my due date (if I even make it that far).


Just wondering what everyone's experiences have been?

I really really really hope to be induced again! SHe was out in less than 5 hours after being 6 days late.

I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and was told today that next appt (I'll be 38 weeks 5 days) they can schedule an induction if we want.

With DD, we scheduled induction at our appt 2 days before due date...induction was day after due date and the whole process did not last more than 12 hours.

I pushed for less than 30 minutes and she was out.

For us....there are OOT people revolving around impending birth, DH retail work schedule (which STANKS ROYALLY), and a 17 mth old that needs to have some sort of coverage during the process....SO to know WHEN it's going to happen would be REALLY nice (plus I'm not a fan of the unknown)
