BTDT mom's who breastfed.....
I'm done with BF, and my right boob is back to size and dried out!
My left boob is almost there but I still get area's of hardness and its sore, but then some days I have no pain and its like the boob is dried out and done I don't know why some days it gets painful and somedays it doesn't. I don't want to pump cause I don't want to start having milk come in again, what should I do on the days it hurts? and also why does that happen? TIA!

I heard cabbage leaves in your bra are supposed to work wonders! Chill them in the fridge then stick them in your bra. Everyone I know who has done it, swears by it.

My friends who weaned recently suggested pumping once a week after the last feeding to do a clean out -- it made them comfortable and the milk didn't come back. Not scientific, but seems to have worked for them.
