BTDT Moms: Did you have any 'signs' labor is coming soon?
I know there is no way to tell really until your water breaks but im curious if there were any sign for you before labor happened?
He has been 'right there' for 3 weeks, lower the last week, lost my mucus plug friday night, increase BH contractions (I can't even go up the stairs without getting a contraction), alot of increased discharge and wetness and my cervix is soft and OB anticipates dilation starting this week....do any of those mean anything or just 3rd trimester stuff?

No, I actually had no idea I was in labor with #2 when I went to my appt last thurs. I'd been having mild contractions for weeks, I think I was just getting used to them!
The good news is that it was only 4.5 hrs from the time my water broke until I delivered!

I had back pain the whole day I went into labor (which was 9PM when my water broke). I never had back pain before.

I have been having that off and on the last few days, today is at it's worst, i never had it with DD.

I had absolutely no signs. I started having contractions, went to the hospital & was 1cm dilated, they sent me home but said they would be seeing me soon. I was back at the hospital 5-6 hours later, and soon after that DS was born.

I had really bad back pain that made me stop and sit down while at the mall. I felt like my back was splitting in half. 10 mon. later my water broke. Up until then I felt fine. Showered, shaved, did my hair and so on. It was my 1st day off of bedrest so even if I felt crappy I would have gone anyway I had contractions a lot, but that was common since I had just stopped the Pro-Cardia.

My only signs were losing my mucus plug in pieces over 3-4 days.
And then the day before I had her I was having irregular contractions on and off.
THat was it.
