BTDT moms & dads: Changing crib to day bed
We just changed it over today. There is a guard for about half of the bed so the other half of the bed is basically open for her to fall out of bed. Should I expect her to fall out tonight? I'm thinking I should put something on the floor at the open spot just in case. Does that sound right?

I've been reading so much lately about this - I'm contemplating putting DD in a bed. Many say that you should put something soft on the floor by the bed in case they roll out.
