bryan says that he doesnt like school/daycare

Bryan is 3 he's been in daycare since he is 18 months. For awhile now he's been saying that he doesnt like "school" ( we call daycare school). He says he doesnt like his teachers. He hates wakiing up in the morning but he is getting enough sleep. When I pick him up he seems to be having fun and his teachers give good reports and I like them. Do you think there is something more going on here or is this just s 3 yr old phases that kids go thru...

We were going through the same thing toward the end of nursery school and now camp. Sarah's teachers told me that's really common with the 3 year olds.

ETA: They tell me that after a few minutes she calms down and has a great time playing with the other kids, it's just the getting her there that's a nightmare.

My daughter went through the same exact thing this year and made me wonder just like you...she just turned four last week.

Every morning was a battle to get her out of bed and ready. She just said she didn't like school and sometimes even cried! When she would come home and we would ask questions about her day, we would get one word answers...

She now goes to camp - she seems to really like it, but still won't give more than one word answers for how her day was. It's with the same kids, just different teachers (And I do believe she liked her teachers during the school year- I know I did)...
