Bronx zoo stroller question
Going tomor with our 11 week old. (and our friends with older kids).
We have the following. What do you think we should use?
Car seat w snap and go
Britax b ready full size stroller
Uppababy gluxe umbrella stroller
Baby bjorn
Boba 3G

I would say use the most comfortable and easy to push stroller, with enough storage room! And bring a carrier. There are many several areas where you have to park the stroller and will have to carry the baby.

If you're 11 week old is comfy in the g-luxe I'd take that. Its what we take with our 3 yo when we go, and we go a lot.
there is a lot of walking, so definitely not bjorn, you want stroller to maybe carry your bottles of water and bags and such.
also on the shuttle, you fold up stroller and put it under the seat, so you don't want a full size, you want something light and compact.

Thanks. The gluxe is obviously really lightweight and easy to fold but it's def not as smooth as the britax and has zero room for a diaper bag tho.
It's a trade off.

I personally wouldn't worry about the size of the stroller - I've used a double there many times. The zoo is big and I dont think you'll find an issue with that. Choose the one that baby is comfortable in and that pushes and maneuvers well. It's a lot of walking and some hills.

we always bring our big stroller - uppa baby vista - so that DD is comfy and that we have room to store all the stuff we need.

Bring the stroller that you'll be able to carry all your stuff in-including the baby. We brought a double stroller and when one of the kids wasn't in it, it was being used to carry backpacks and gifts that we didn't want to hold with the baby in her car seat snapped in.

Take the bjorn and any stroller baby is comfy in.
You are not going to a third world country: you don't need that much stuff. Any basket will be fine.
For monorail, Congo, Madagascar, dinosaurs, the movie (though it is too scary and loud) and probably a few others, you have to leave your stroller... So don't bring something too $$ (even I would be tempted to steal a pricey stroller).
