Britax B-Ready or City Select as a double stroller?

Anyone use these as doubles? What are the pros/cons? I'll take other suggestions!

Re: Britax B-Agile or City Select as a double stroller?

I use the City Select for my twins and I love it. I find that it fits well in store aisles and maneuvers easily. I am also tall so the extendable handle is great (for me and DH)! I use it as an every day stroller around town and I also use it to jog/walk with the girls in my neighborhood. Any specific questions please feel free to ask! I LOVE this stroller...I guess the only con I have right now is it was expensive and you have to buy the second seat and brackets separately. We also purchased the car seat brackets and use it as a "snap and go" strollers. That cost does add up...

Re: Britax B-Ready or City Select as a double stroller?

I have the B-Ready and I love it as a single stroller. Shortly after I bought it I tried to sell it so I could buy the City Select but was unable to sell it so I am stuck with it.

The B-Ready was some great pros: folds is very simple even with the 2nd seat attached; great storge space and I can even put my purse & 1 shopping bag under while DS is in the 2nd seat; pushes so smoothly and i love the look of it. My only con is that DS cannot see anything sitting underneath. He leans out the side to see whats infront of us. That is my only complaints. He loves it though!

What I liked about the City Select is the seating options. I like that the 2 seats can face forward and both kids can see what's infront of them.

My vote is for the City Select because of the seating arrangments.

ETA: another B-Ready con is that the back wheels are large and extend a little too far out sometimes making it more difficult to get around stores. it's doable but you'll bump into more with the back wheels.

The City Select has this problem too. It's definitely not a deal breaker because the stroller is awesome but it can sometimes be annoying, especially in tighter spaces.

I originally wanted to get the B-Ready, especially because they were having a sale where if you bought the stroller, you would get an add on piece (second seat, carseat, or bassinet, all of which are in the $150-200 range!) for free! It's a smooth ride, folds easily, nice material that seems easy to clean, huge basket, etc.

However, I HATE that the second seat can only go behind the front seat so the baby will always be looking at the back of the front seat. It's more like a rumble seat (like what the UppaBaby Vista has and also what the inline doubles like Bob have). I am not a fan of that at all.

Then the other deal breaker for me was that the seats do not have a straight up recline position (where the kids sit straight up). The most upright position is at an angle.

So we got the City Select. It has pretty much all the features of the B-Ready, but doesn't have the "problems" with the seats since it has a ton of configurations, and the seats sit upright.

It's pricey, but we got the second seat as a gift and used gift cards to help with the cost of the actual stroller. I am having it delivered to me so I haven't started using it yet. It's HEAVY though, like really heavy for me personally. But the only place I would ever have to pick it up is to put in and take out of my trunk. So I'm hoping that will be fine.
